Regardless of each student’s future work, Mater Ecclesiae
offers students the opportunity to contribute directly in apostolic and pastoral
activities. Under the guidance of field supervisors, all students are exposed to
this fieldwork throughout their academic career and gain knowledge for their
life and mission.
Student services emphasize the formation of an apostolic
heart that is willing to put knowledge and talents at the service of
society. Every student has leadership and campus governance opportunities:
overseeing a specific area of the campus upkeep, organizing a retreat, being a
team leader, etc.
These experiences provide students with the necessary and
practical preparation to pursue their fieldwork experience both on their own
initiative and in conjunction with others. This allows them to put into practice
the maxim which summarizes their role as leaders to act, encourage others to act and allow others to act.
Mater Ecclesiae fulfills its mission of incorporating moral
values and professional training through fieldwork experiences that contribute
concretely to the work of evangelization and the progress of society.
Fieldwork experience opportunities are available in the
